The cabin was easy to reserve & the accommodating owner, Beth, kept in touch via email. Scott, the maintenance person, was friendly and helpful. The cabin, Gatsby, was clean & dog friendly; there are some stairs that you have to climb to get into the cabin. There was a screened in porch and a small deck overlooking the pond (which was fully stocked and there were even a couple of kayaks and peddle boats available for use). The property was quiet and beautiful. It was easy to find & get to and was within a fifteen- minute drive to Old Man's Cave, Ash Cave, and Cedar Falls. The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after hiking. The only thing we didn't like about the place was the sulfur smell to the water. It was fine for cooking and showering; we just got some drinking water from the store- "problem" solved. Would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Joice was our Host and she was Awsome @ Fairgreens County Cabins in Jackson Ohio. The Cabins were Awsome, inside & out ❤️'ed all the wood, The Hot tub on the private back deck was a Great start to every morning before exploring and every evening after running aroud. The cabin was also well equipped including coffee. Coffee in the morning on the back deck was Great. All we had to bring was our clothes, food & drink. Centrally located 45 minets from Chillicothe Oh, Hocking Hills Oh & Charston West Virginia We are planning a Anniversary trip in October and Plan to stay with Joice @ Fairfild Country Cabins again Check them out, You will NOT be Disappointed

Stayed in retreat cabin . It was reasonably priced compared to other cabins in the area. It was clean, well kept and bed sheets smelled nice. Had minimal kitchen gears, and it was really all you need. Kids loved staying here too.
